Rashedul Hasan Yasin

FCCA

Mr. Yasin is a Fellow Chartered and Certified Accountant (FCCA). He holds a BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting degree from Oxford Brookes University, UK. Currently, he is pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and passed Level 1.

At present, he is serving as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Midland Bank Asset Management, a fully owned subsidiary of Midland Bank PLC. Midland Bank PLC. is a professionally run fourth generation private commercial bank in Bangladesh, reputed for its strong governance practices. 

Previously, he served as Sr. Manager, Finance & Fund Operations at VIPB Asset Management for around 4 years. Before that he worked for AT Capital Asset Management for around 5 years and left the company as Manager, Operations and Fund Management. Earlier in his career, he worked in a reputed Chartered Accountancy firm and also possesses experience in restructuring and streamlining the Finance Department of a health-tech start-up company.

Mr. Yasin is an OBU Registered Mentor and one of the Faculties at HeadStart. He possesses around 9 years of experience in the Bangladesh Capital Market Industry. Mr. Yasin is passionate about long-term Value Investing. His experience in corporate and academic research in institutional capacity and foreign universities is an additional strength that enables our students to get proper guidance. Historically, he has a commendable number of mentees under the OBU program and is extremely popular among the students for his friendly support, prompt response, and successful track record. In total,  61 ACCA students have graduated in the last 8 sessions (i.e. May 2020 – November 2024) under Mr Yasin’s supervision and the mentor had a 100% pass rate thrice during this timeframe.
